This recipe is simple and really good!

You can make wonderful gravy with the liquid left in your crock pot. Just thicken the broth with flour (basic gravy recipe). Serve with the beef or reserve juices and make gravy some other time to pour over ground beef patties with noodles, rice, or the best, mashed potatoes!

Ingredients;

3 to 5 pound boneless beef roast (chuck, Tri Tip, works well)

1 pkg au ju mix (found in dry package isle)

1 pkg Italian salad dressing mix (dry)

1 can beef broth

1/3 cup water or 1/2 soup can

Directions;

Place roast in slow cooker. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over beef. Cover and cook on low 8 hours.

It’s that simple! Serve juices as is over beef at table or make gravy, I highly recommend using the delicious juices to make gravy! There should be enough to do both. See my suggestion from above!
